COVID-19 has impacted everyone and, in many ways, will change how we live our lives and conduct business. At taxTruck, we are at the forefront of delivering a virtual and contactless experience for income tax preparation services. We want to share with you our brief video below, to show how committed we are to help serve you and your families during this time.

While we service New Jersey, we are proud to extend or services beyond the border of NJ via our virtual platform. We strive to make your life simple in a complex world.

Here are the 5 Steps for our Virtual Income Tax Services (all done in the United States of America).

Step 1 – Contact us for an appointment.

We will have a brief live in-take session to cover your situation either via phone or Zoom video. This in-take form will be used for compliance purposes, so we set you up properly within our tax software system. We will ask you to complete a checklist for documentation/support as needed. We have many different checklists depending on your profession to help maximize your deductions. At this time, you will elect whether to e-file or file via paper and make elections regarding any of the financial products (RefundTransfer or Cash advances/loans). Step 2 – Tax Fee Transparency & Payment. After our first session, we will provide our fee quote estimate via email based on our Fee Schedule. Upon your acceptance we will commence with the income tax preparation. If you are entitled to a tax refund, you can opt-into our financial product which allows us to collect our fee from your refund (subject to eligibility and fees apply). To make a payment, simply do so from our website.

Step 3 – Documentation submission via our virtual secure portals. After fee acceptance, we will send you a checklist of required documents (IDs, 1099s, W2s, etc.) that you will submit via a secure portal. You will have to submit a signed e-file Form 8879 back to us immediately. For data/document submission, you have two options. (1) Submit via our secure web portal, or, (2) Mobile phone application. Of course, we can work via the US postal mail if you prefer, but we strongly recommend digital as the fastest way to deliver services.

Step 4 – Tax return draft review. We will review the first draft of your income tax return with you via phone or Zoom video. Our objective is to ensure you understand the return and answer any questions. We also believe this is an opportunity to address anything potentially missed.

Step 5 – We e-file on your behalf. We will e-file your federal and state returns via e-file. If you chose to file via paper, we simply submit the final return to the secure portal for your access. You can always refer to the portal for future reference and all your tax return documentation is stored for ease of access should you be audited by the IRS.
